Gender Ratio of Special Education Teachers

Among 12,617 special education teachers for the disabilities, 2,441 (19.35%) were male and 10,176 were female (80.65%), female teachers were four times more than male. Among 1,637 special education teachers for the gifted, 598 were male (36.53%) and 1,039 (63.47%) were female, female teachers were 1.4 times than male.
